...all is revealed

The secret undercover project is done! I couldn't post it because it was for Samantha's shower, which is today. Hopefully she'll be too busy to peak this morning.I love this pattern. Purchased from Marie Grace Designs. It starts at the center on four needles and eventually change to circulars. You knit around in a circle and end up with a square This is such a great idea. Think of the possibilities.

And just perfect for little toes... little camouflage socks!
Now back to finish Na Craga!

Not another one.............

Just what this girl needed............a little sheep butt!

A present from my lovely daughter (who has no self-control).

I'm on the last sleeve of Na Craga, and started blocking the body.
I did have a little time to order some new books from Amazon, though!

Mr D. had to put in a second book shelf for me. The first one was getting a little full and a couple of the shelves were starting to sag.

Then there's still the unfinished projects... Miss "P's" nightie.

My much needed quilt.

Then I got talked into ordering the yarn for Kauni by Kristin and Renee.

So onward and upward... it is only Wednesday afterall.

You Are: 10% Dog, 90% Cat

You are are almost exactly like a cat.

You're intelligent, independent, and set on getting your way.

And there's no way you're going to fetch a paper for anyone!

I like the getting my way part. Intelligent is good too!

Knitting Daily!

Just a quick post to let you all know about Knitting Daily. I found it on Angelika's blog. It's brought to you by Interweave Press, sign up and receive free patterns, news letters and lots more.
In progress news....
I am knitting Na Craga from Alice Starmore's Aran Knitting for Shear Comfort Farm. It's actually a cabled pullover that even beginners can tackle, with a combination of five 4 and 8 row patterns. Everything lines up nicely and is quite easy to memorize.

I'm using an Alpaca Silk blend of DK weight. Not my personal colour choice, but I don't have to wear it. My camera sees it as a carmel colour, but my daughter says it's pee yellow!

And I can't get enough of the new OZZY.... and Zakk of course!

18 May 2007

3-day weekend!

I'm off to the Alpaca farm tomorrow morning , she wants another sweater. I'm going to remember to take my camera this time.

13 May 2007

Mother's Day!

They say a picture is worth a thousand words...

This is the only sheep that came into the house.

A weekend of hard work, and none of it was mine!
And here's my little postie.

6 May 2007

Another week-end gone...

There was actually some knitting going on.
I have one sock done for the Six Sox Knit-a-long. The second one started.
Oh look some more sheep showed their faces.

I made some progress on the shawl...

Oh look another sheep in rain gear, no less.
My daughter picked me up a great footstool, and I had a little help re-organizing my stuff.

Look how nice it matches my knitting basket.

Oh look, more than one project on the go.

And I still have a ton of room for more stash.

My gadget box.

What's in your basket?

Blah, Blah, Blah...

Not a very exciting weekend for me. I did go to the Julie's store with my daughter so she could get more yarn for the "boyfriend sweater". (The first one was not big enough, and guess who gets to sew it together.) So now on to Sweater II.
I did get the new collar done on the Aran cardigan, and I'm still deciding on what to make with the rest of the leftovers. There's about 500 yards.
Sunday was spent cleaning floors, doin' laundry and playing with that dumb dog.
My new issue of Sandra Knitting Magazine arrived.
All I want to do is knit and she justs wants to chase ball, and she just won't quit.
This is the "LOOK"!
This is what I get when I ignore her!

Then a visitor arrived. Did I say how much I love my new camera!

Do you think he was looking for love in all the wrong places?

And a big shout out to Alisha! Thanks for the tip about the music on the blog.
