Tough week at work.

I haven't had a lot of time to knit this week. It's just been one of those weeks so far.
I'm finishing up a sweater for Julie's customer. It's just a matter of putting all the pieces together.
My darling daughter came home with 3 balls of Lion Brand suede and a crocheted shawl pattern on the ball band that she so desperately wanted. But guess what she doesn't crochet. So down to business I got. I did about 5 rows and it just felt to stiff to me so I ripped it out and played around with my knitting needles and got this:

I'll share the pattern once I'm done and actually write it out.

On another note, keeping the peace in the family is always a good thing. Look what I let the love of my life do to my truck! First a dog and now a truck cap!
Egads. What next!
CAMPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think this deserves a shopping trip to the yarn store.

Ooooh, I love it! The pattern is loverly!! :)

First he makes you buy a Focus WAGON and then he puts a cap on your truck?!? You poor poor woman. You're right you better get a trip to the yarn store in so you can feel better. :)

Better get to the yarn store quick so you'll have something to do on those CAMPING trips! I love that green suede, BTW ... crochet uses twice the amount of yarn as knitting & so it makes a stiffer fabric. Your knitting pattern is going to be lovely. Can't wait to see the shawl finish!

That looks great! I have to agree with your daughter, the photography looks great on that. I love the print on that chair as well, but it goes great with the knitting and colour of yarn. Purrrrfect.
Yuk! Yes, must go to the yarn store immediately. :-)

The shawl is so very nice. Enjoy your post trauma yarn shopping; shame on the DH for causing such terror in your soul!
