They're done...

There's nothing like having a day alone to do whatever you want. Mr. D went fishing, my housework was done yesterday, and I decided I had to many projects on the go. So I sat down, turned on my podcast and finished my Horcrux socks for the KAL. Pattern: Horcrux Socks
Yarn: 100% superwash merino, Handpainted by Sunshine Yarns in the Hedwig colourway Needles: 2.25 mm dpns

Duece enjoyed watching the maple keys fly down from the sky.
Lady finally decide that this was her dog house not the cats.My first iris of the season. And Mr. D came home with dinner. First catch of the season.Well, it's back to the basket to work on the cable sweater.

Knitting Daily!

Just a quick post to let you all know about Knitting Daily. I found it on Angelika's blog. It's brought to you by Interweave Press, sign up and receive free patterns, news letters and lots more.
In progress news....
I am knitting Na Craga from Alice Starmore's Aran Knitting for Shear Comfort Farm. It's actually a cabled pullover that even beginners can tackle, with a combination of five 4 and 8 row patterns. Everything lines up nicely and is quite easy to memorize.

I'm using an Alpaca Silk blend of DK weight. Not my personal colour choice, but I don't have to wear it. My camera sees it as a carmel colour, but my daughter says it's pee yellow!

And I can't get enough of the new OZZY.... and Zakk of course!

Mother's Day!

They say a picture is worth a thousand words...

This is the only sheep that came into the house.

A weekend of hard work, and none of it was mine!
And here's my little postie.

Another week-end gone...

There was actually some knitting going on.
I have one sock done for the Six Sox Knit-a-long. The second one started.
Oh look some more sheep showed their faces.

I made some progress on the shawl...

Oh look another sheep in rain gear, no less.
My daughter picked me up a great footstool, and I had a little help re-organizing my stuff.

Look how nice it matches my knitting basket.

Oh look, more than one project on the go.

And I still have a ton of room for more stash.

My gadget box.

What's in your basket?
